Spotlight: ScriptViewer.io @ Motion Conference

Every summer thousands of students, over 16,000 to be more accurate,  gather throughout Alabama for the Motion Student Conference. Hosted by Church of the Highlands, Motion curates an environment where thousands of students see their live's changed for Jesus. With speakers such as Rich Wilkerson Jr. and Pastor Chris Hodges as well as music from the Motion Worship team, this conference is an experience that will impact these students forever.

Workflow Network has the honor to play a small part in the life change at these events by equipping the production team with tools let them focus on what values most. For Motion 19', Highland's Video Director Steven Early let us know how helpful ScriptViewer.io was for him:

Having scriptviewer.io pulled up next to me was so a life saver. Playing the role of director and technical director, it’s super important to be able to quickly look down between camera shots and see the information that only pertains to me is absolutely crucial. Stephen Early, Live Video Director @ Church of the Highlands

If you have not heard of ScriptViewer.io before, then get ready! ScriptViewer is essentially a live-updating custom layout of a plan in Planning Center Services. We work with each church to create what we call "layouts" designed to show specific information for their specific teams.

Video layout from Motion Conference 19′
Highlighting and detailed info from Motion Conference 19′
Simplified “Flow” layout from Fellowship Church

For Motion and Highlands, the "Video" layout provided automatic green highlighting for anything in the Planning Center plan note category called "Video Notes" as well as a simple line-by-line cue list. ScriptViewer can be customized to show pretty much anything that you have in your Planning Center plan. Even better, if you use Planning Center Live, ScriptViewer will show you where you are and update the displayed times to keep you on track. A perfect companion to Live Time we must say ;)

A special thanks to Church of the Highlands for allowing us to help out and be sure to take a peek more at ScriptViewer.io. We would be happy to build you a demo layout or two to try!
